Retina Program opens at Atlantis Eyecare

Atlantis Eyecare has introduced Retina as one of their key services. Dr. Hani Salehi-Had is the Directory of Retina Services for Atlantis Eyecare. Dr. Salehi completed his fellowship at Doheney Eye Institute at the University of Southern California and completed his Residency at Harvard University.

Dr. Hani Salehi-Had is a Vitreo Retinal Surgeon that specializes in diseases and surgery of the retina, macula, and vitreous. He is fellowship trained in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the eye including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular disease and retinal detachment.

Atlantis Eyecare expects care to improve significantly by increasing communication and better coordination of care. Retina services are provided at the newly expanded facility located at the Bella Terra Mall in Huntington Beach. The office offers new exam lanes, electronic medical records and the latest in eye care technology.

In fact, in addition to the Optometrist, the optician plays a critical role in the accuracy, quality and style of your glasses. Luckily for consumers there is the American Board of Opticianry (ABO).

The American Board of Opticianry (ABO) and the National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE) are national, non-profit organizations which administer voluntary certification examinations for dispensing opticians and contact lens technicians. Our purposes are to identify qualified eyewear providers by examination, urge growth of optical skills with continuing education, and approve continuing education programs.
